Excellent Shower

I'm very pleased with this shower which replaced the previous Mira Essentials. This one is considerably quieter, probably due to the supplied rubber fixing mounts. I like the fact the flow rate is altered by varying the pump speed rather than restricting the flow. The only thing I hated was that rather than pushing out inserts to allow plumbing options, this had blanking pieces which needed fitting to cover the case holes. Unfortunately they do not fit tightly, so I had to support the bottom one with a piece of duct tape to stop it dropping out! The pipework is identical to the Essentials shower which made fitting fairy easy, although ugh the fixing screws were in different positions which is a shame.

A Trouble Free Purchase!

I had the previous model for several years, and replaced the pump 3 times, so it was well used! I wanted a direct replacement to avoid any installation problems with the plumbing. It came when it was supposed to. I fitted it without any trouble at all. The maximum temperature wasn't hot enough for my family, but it was quick and simple to adjust. My earlier shower wasn't quiet..it could be heard anywhere in the house. This model, however, is extremely quiet. The rubber wallplugs are a very good idea, so too are the rubber feet (I did add a couple of extra pads behind the case). All in all, I can say that it was easy to install, it performs well, and is good value for money.

Mira Vigour Thermostatic Shower

The shower was a straight replacement for a much earlier model which had given 20 years of good service before the pump failed. The current model seems every bit as good and was very quickly installed by a local plumber. Just two observations: the temperature control requires a slightly higher setting than on the older model and the wall slide bar is some 10cms shorter. This does affect the available height adjustment of the shower head as we wanted to make use of the upper of the two existing fixing holes in the tiles. So far this has not caused any real problem but might have if greater adjustment been required. All in all I am very happy with our new shower.

Good product, good manufacturer

Have only just started using this product but was determined to get another Mira shower as the previous one (a Mira Express) did excellent service. While the Vigour is quite a bit bigger than the Express (was this the smallest power shower ever?), it looks smart and delivers a good pressure of water. Easy to use, stable temperature and relatively easy to install. I have given 4 stars for Build Quality only because a few years of use is required to prove this but it certainly looks solid enough. If it lasts anywhere near as long as the Express, I shall be well pleased - and it was a very good price as well! Thank you, Plumbnation.

Exactly what it says on the tin...

This was bought as a like for like replacement. The Plumbnation price was so much cheaper than elsewhere, including the 'sheds' who sell it under their own branding, that it seemed too good to be true. Product arrived next day and was fully installed and working within the hour. We needed a very simple model, as we have a disabled son, and this fits the bill perfectly. Quiet, powerful and thermostatically controlled. It gets a lot of use in our busy family household and the fact that we have opted for Mira again says it all. First time with Plumbnation but the experience was as invigorating as the shower itself!

Really good pump and easy to fit

I bought this to replace a Mira Event XS shower whose pump and thermostat had failed but had been a very good shower up until it failed. This Vigour shower had the same footprint so fitted in the same place with ease. I found the whole process of installing to be exceptionally simple. The pump forteh flow is excellent and the temperature guage on the same dial easy to use. The only drawback for me was the fact that the rail was not the same size/shape as the previous Mira so had to fill in the holes - but minor issue. Overall really really pleased.

So simple even for Granny

The shower was delivered promptly and in good order. The shower has now been installed and is working and looks to be a good installation. The controllability of the unit is straightforward and effective for variable power and heat. There is no danger of scalding or uncomfortably cold water issuing due to the thermostat. This is especially important when turning on. The shower head produces many different adjustable water flow patterns. The new unit was a little larger than the one it replaced so no tiling was necessary.

Mira Power Shower

We purchased one for our Guesthouse and we are so pleased with it that I am just about to purchase a further 8. I searched the internet and nobody could come even close to Plumbnation on price, and even my plumber could not match it from his trade suppliers. We have low water pressure and this unit overcomes the problem beautifully. Whats more it is simple to operate and gives a really wet shower, and we haven't even turned it full up. It was delivered quickly and effciently - I cannot fault the service, product or price

Great shower

My wife has been on at me for ages to replace the electric shower in the bathroom as it just didn't have the power to be much use. After much looking around I opted for the Mira Vigour power shower from Plumbnation. The service and communication from the company was first class and the price was superb. This is a good looking product which is straight forward to fit and easy to use. It is in daily use and meets all of our needs and expectations. If I needed another power shower I'd certainly be looking at one of these.

Excellent shower purchase

My customer was so pleased with the new cubicle and tray that I purchased from here some time ago and installed in their home that as soon as their shower wore out they got straight on to me for suggestions for a replacement at an affordable price. Excellent Shower

This shower was purchased to replace a Gainsborough unit in which the pump/motor had given up. The price of this unit was about £20 more than the cost of a new pump so I opted to get this instead; an excellent choice. The shower is easy to use, was pretty much a straight swap-out for the old shower (my plumber didn't have to move any pipework), and feels great; I don't tend to get out of it until the hot water runs out. Highly recommended, and a good price too.

Good replacement

This shower was bought as a replacement for a power shower we had had for a number of years. We were very pleased that there was very little alteration that had to be made to the existing pipework. It is a very smart looking shower and apprears to be very efficient in use. We feel we made a good choice and must say that the speed of the delivery was excellent. Excellent shower

We are extremely pleased with the Mira Vigour Thermostatic Power Shower. It looks good, switches on and off easily and provides a powerful shower even when the water flow dial is set just above minimum. We felt that the instructions concerning the 5 exciting spray patterns could have been better. We had to look on the box to find out what they were as they are not mentioned in the minimal installation/user guide although much is made of them in the product description.

Highly Recommended

Thought about purchasing the manual temperature control model but decided on the thermostatic model and I'm glad I did. Continuous pressured hot water to suit the individuals comfort zone makes it a winner for me and my family. I honestly didn't think that a shower unit could deliver all this simultaneously , but the Mira Vigour certainly delivers and may I add, quite silently as well. This good looking slender unit would compliment any bathroom space. Well done Mira.

Excellent Value

When we bought this shower it was on Special Offer so the price was excellent. Our plumber fits mainly Mira showers and he was very impressed with the price and quality of this one. It was easy to fit over the space taken up by our previous shower (which cost us twice as much, and for which we could not get spare parts after six years). The various spray patterns from the shower head is a very impressive feature and really wakes you up in the morning.

What a bargain

This was supposed to be a direct replacement for my 17 year old Mira shower but needed a little bit of wiring due to being a 240v supply not a 24v with transformer. Even so it could not have been simpler to fit with the help of my mate, a qualified plumber to do the minimal changes to the hot & cold feed pipes. This shower performs way beyond it's price. A good powerful flow and excellent response on the temperature controls. An absolute bargain.

Brilliant Product

My ancient Showerforce 2000 packed up and it was a struggle to find a replacement. Plumbnation supplied the Mira Vigour in record time, it was no problem for my plumber to fit, and it's a relly excellent product, powerful, very easy to use, with an adjustable spray pattern and pump power settings. It may look pretty plain, but it does exactly what it says on the tin and you can't ask for anything more. Excellent!

Bought this shower after looking on the internet & comparing prices, we wanted this make as it's the same as the one we have had for 10 years. This site was the cheapest & we were really surprised in the speed of the delivery. The shower was easy to fit & it is really powerful it looks nice & modern overall we are extremely pleased with it. Would definitely recommend it to friends & would use this company again.

So much better than I expected

This is my fourth power shower and the first time I have had anything other than a Triton from Homebase/B&Q. The others all lost power and had to be replaced as repair was uneconomical. This one is so much more powerful than I ever remember the others being. It might not be the best looking but it looks OK. As for Plumbnation, speedy service and great prices. I only wish I'd found you sooner.

This would have been the ideal product if it was the one I needed.unfortunately it wouldn't have suited me due to my shower needed to be tank fed. Apart from this it was easy to navigate the web site, the site is user friendly and it was very quick delivery.. even though I had to return this item it was all hassle free. Would use again and would recommend to others.

Just what it says on the tin, and then sum

Easy to install as a replacement shower, very good power shower with wide temperature rang. Head provides 4 spray settings and is easy to clean. The one year warranty can be extended to five years at a very competitive price . I am unable to find a downside to this item and the service from Plumworld was also very good with fast delivery. Highly recommended.

Easy install to replace Mira Event

I purchesed this to replace a very tired Mira Event, the unit has a similar foot print and the pipe connections sit in the right place for a simple switch with only a little cleaning required where the corners are rounded on the new unit. The shower has a wider temperature band and good pressure.

This product has far exceeded my expectations. It came with clear fitting instrictions which were esy to follow. The fitting was uncomplicated. Using the product has been a good experience, easy to use controls and a good variety of flow and shower head to suit very need and taste.

Recieved my new power shower which was installed by my Plumber in less than an hour and ready to use. Within 30 minutes this was in full use by the family. Easy to use with simple to understand controls. easy to adjust shower head. Excellent Power Shower which looks smart and bright

Excellent shower

Bought this as a replacement for a Mira event shower which had lasted years. Fitted in same place as event shower with a few minor tweaks. Template was a bit confusing as it is printed the round the wrong way round! Lovely shower and very easy to use. Well worth the money.

Great shower

This shower is easy to install and one of the few that allow left side entry top or bottom. Great control over the force of water and temperature and shower head allows for soft to invigorating shower. A lot less noisier than previous shower forces showers I have used.
