The Atlantis 1000L slimline plastic bunded oil tank is designed for both domestic and commercial use. The bunded oil tank is designed to store liquid in the inner tank while the outer tank forms the required bund with a capacity of 110% of the primary tank’s capacity.
Bunded Oil Tank
A bunded tank is a tank within a tank, which results in the outer tank providing protection for the inner tank, making it harder for the inner tank to fail. In the unlikely event of the inner tank failing, the outer tank will provide secondary containment.
Suitable for Many Liquids
The Atlantis bunded oil tank is suitable for storing heating oil, kerosene, diesel, waste oils, water, and many other liquids (please note: checking before use is advised).
Polyethylene Construction
Made from durable polyethylene, this tank is designed to withstand the test of time. What's more, the polymer used is resistant to UV rays, ensuring the tank continues to work to the best of its ability without sun damage.
Components Included
The Atlantis plastic bunded oil tank complies with current legislation governing the storage of oil. It features a 2" fill point, an overfill prevention device, a 4" inspection hatch, and a lockable lid.
Additional Information:
- This tank complies with current environmental standards: OFTEC requirements, Oil Pollution Prevention Guidelines (England & Wales) 2002 PPG2, and CE approval (The CE number is present on the tank).
- Atlantis recommends, along with current regulations, a base size that extends 300mm all the way around the tank.
