Aqualisa Thermostatic Cartridge Grey - 022801

After one of my showers started dripping and doing all the necessary checks, I called a plumber. The plumber quoted me over 500 to replace the Aqualisa cartridge which he said would cost 250 for the part and 250 labour. After I had picked myself up from the floor, I mentioned to a neighbour who said he had fixed his shower himself as he had taken it to pieces, given it a good clean and it then worked. Sadly his shower was a different model but it did tell me I definitely needed a new Aqualisa cartridge for my Dream Shower. After looking all over the internet, I found Plumbnation and boy oh boy, am I glad I did! Great customer reviews, a fantastic clean and clear website with full instructions and yay! They also had the Aqualisa shower cartridge I needed .......... at a fraction of the price of any other supplier! Thank you so so much Plumbnation! I ordered the Aqualisa cartridge which it was received in 2 days and then fitted. I was over the moon! My neighbour and my husband then repeated their process above but, this time, fitted the new Aqualisa cartridge from Plumbnation and it works perfectly ...... and has ALSO saved a small fortune!! I cannot thank Plumbnation enough and will always order from their in future. I tried the rest but have now found the best in Plumbnation and encourage you all to do the same!

These cartridges are never cheap, but the Plumbnation supplied item is probably the best price. I can't fault it, comes with all the screws gasket and O ring, easy to fit (once you get the water off!). And on my gravity system does a a prefect job of mixing. The only problem you may have is in setting the pins that control over hot water when set to maximum hot flow, fiddly, and in my case I used trial and error to get it right. That of course is nothing to do with Plumbnation, anyway a recommended purchase, our shower has never been so 'controllable', I should have fitted a new unit years ago!

I replaced the O rings on the shower valve to try and cure a leak. Despite several unsucessful attempts, I believe due to the fact that the O rings supplied in the third party repair kits were incorrectly sized, I finally decided to replace the valve. The O rings that came with the valve looked correct and sure enough the new shower valve sealed first time. Replacing the rear seal was not the easiest of jobs but patience paid off. Who knows I might now even have a perfectly good back up valve. A word of caution about buying non original manufacturer parts, don't!

We've had 2 plumbers out about the cartridge. One who was unable to help and one who said he didn't want to touch it. After 7 months of the kids sharing my shower I'd had enough. Ordered the part which arrived on the expected date. Husband fitted the part. He said that the instructions were easy enough to understand. The elusive o ring was not there? Could be the first plumber removed it? Anways kids are now back in their own bathroom and I have my shower back. Wish I'd ordered it months ago.

Bought to replace existing shower cartridge which had been leaking from shower head for the last year. Original cartridge had lasted over 12 years so can't grumble. New cartridge was fitted by myself (not a plumber) in under an hour using the easy to follow instructions and we now have a non leaky shower. Good price and delivery, all the parts needed included. Easy to replace unit, model I had the 'O' ring fitted on the back of the valve, not in the housing. This was to replace a 12 year old valve that had started to leak behind the grey ring and temperature adjustment was temperamental.

Leaking shower unit was getting worse so took it apart and found this unit was the problem. Searched for part online and Plumbnation were showing stock and good delivery times. Part arrived on time and shower was fixed within an hour of delivery. Would recommend Plumbnation to others.

Plumbnation had this Cartridge at a good price and delivered it quickly. Unfortunately a vital 'O' Ring was missing from the installation kit. I contacted Plumbnation who got on to Aqualisa and the 'O' ring arrived from Aqualisa a few days later. Good service - recommended.

We needed a replacement cartridge for our leaking shower. The price at Plumbnation was very good, and the item was delivered on time. Updates from the company were good. Our plumber took around an hour to fit the cartridge, and the shower is now working perfectly again.
